ABOUT ME

Just a regular girl from the Midwest

Hi and thank you for taking the time to visit my website.  Well, you're reading this section to learn a bit more about me.  So, let's get into it.  I'm Edrickcan Loox.  I was born in St. Louis, Mo.  Where I lived with my parents and four sisters. Nope, not one brother. All girls!

Growing up in St. Louis, I always liked being active like most children, dancing, running, cartwheels, etc. So, it is no mistake that I became a certified personal trainer.

I was introduced to fitness briefly while living in the midwest.  However, my passion didn't develop for fitness until I relocated to Miami Beach, Fl.  South Beach that is, to attend the performance arts college New World School of the arts.  Where I was a dance major.  Miami provided me with lots of opportunities to perform live, in commercials and music videos. It also showed me that you better get in shape!  Everyone was so beautiful with great bodies and showing them!  I knew it was time to step up my game.

I got a membership at the now-defunct Bally's.  Once I began working out regularly, I developed a genuine love for the gym.  Learning what machines worked what muscles, getting stronger and noticeable results!  I've been hooked ever since.

Now a resident of Los Angeles, married with two children, an actor, personal trainer, and wellness coach, I continue with my fitness journey and goals, as well as helping others achieve theirs.

As a personal trainer, I offer one on one sessions, group fitness, accountability, and encouragement to each of my clients.  In an effort to help guide them towards a healthier lifestyle. As a wellness coach, I'm   I get that adapting new fitness habit is difficult and often times fails. However, my goal is to change their view on fitness, to transform their bodies, and influence them to make more mindful decisions when it comes to their health.  So that it becomes a part of who they are and their lifestyle.  I believe that if you practice healthy habits, you will be able to obtain and maintain a healthy lifestyle. As the saying goes, For things to change you have to change.  With change comes progress.

One of my favorite quotes is by the late Jim Rohn.  "Take care of your body it's
the only place you have to live"
